Where can I find information about the San Francisco State University Strike?
Answer
Between November 6, 1968 and March 21, 1969, San Francisco State became a focus for national attention on the needs of students of color as the campus erupted in turmoil. The SF State College Strike, also referred to as the Third World strike, embraced the concerns of minority students. During the Strike, faculty groups, student groups, off-campus participants, and others inundated the campus community with broadsides and leaflets announcing points of view.
