I am unable to return my books. Can you renew them?

SF State items may be automatically renewed once. However, if you would like to renew your books early, you may do so online through your Library Account or by bringing your books to the Book Checkout & Pickup desk.
Renewal Instructions:
- Sign in to your Library Account
- Click on the Loans tab
- Click the Renew button next to the title of the book. If the item is not renewable the book must be renewed in person
- The new due date will be displayed.
Technology, course reserves, and CSU+ items are not renewable. Renewals on ILLiad items are subject to the lending library.
To check your due dates, sign in to your online Library Account or email circmail@sfsu.edu.
