Study Space

Answer

Public study areas in the Library are available on floors one through four. Students and SF State employees can also use the Quiet Study area on the ground floor. Please check the Library Hours page for specific services and hours.

There are study rooms on the ground and first floors for current students: read Reserve a Room for more information. Students can reserve three calendar days in advance.

Additionally, there are a few outdoor spaces where you can access wifi and study. One site is located outside of the Main Entranceway to the Library. The other site is near the entrance to the Library on Holloway Avenue. Both sites have stone table areas where you can work, weather permitting.
