Q. What can I do if a book is not where it belongs on the shelf?


If a book is not on the shelf, try looking in the Sorting Area, located on each floor at the end of the book stacks adjacent to the windows on the Holloway side of the building. If the book is neither on the shelf nor in the Sorting Area and the status is Available, you may submit a Search Request at the Book Checkout and Pickup Desk located on the first floor.  At the desk, you may ask to request the item from CSU+ or ILLiad while the book is being searched. Requesting via CSU+ may take up to 2-3 days and ILLiad may take up to 1-2+ weeks to fulfill the request.
